Arby's has officially added its new Angus Cheesesteak to menus nationwide, turning last year's hit limited-time offering into a permanent fixture. The sandwich has quickly become a trending topic among fast food fans eager to see what makes it different from the chain's traditional lineup.
The launch comes as Arby's looks to offer customers a premium alternative to burgers while competing more directly with sandwich rivals that have found success with cheesesteak-focused menus.

What's in Arby's new Angus cheesesteak?
The Arby's new Angus Cheesesteak features sliced Angus steak topped with White American Cooper cheese and caramelized onions. It's all served on a sesame seed sub roll inspired by the bread commonly used for authentic Philadelphia cheesesteaks.
According to the chain, the recipe has been refined since its limited-time debut last summer, which proved to be one of Arby's most successful menu launches.
Jeff Baker, Arby's chief marketing officer, described the sandwich as "a higher-quality alternative to the same old burger."
Arby's is giving away 100,000 free Angus cheesesteaks
To celebrate the nationwide rollout, Arby's is giving away 100,000 Angus Cheesesteaks beginning June 17. Customers can claim the offer with qualifying purchases of $10 or more.
The promotion is designed to introduce more diners to the permanent menu addition and generate excitement around the upgraded sandwich.
Why the new sandwich matters for Arby's
The arrival of the Arby's new Angus Cheesesteak also comes as competition intensifies in the fast food sandwich space. Chains like Jersey Mike's have expanded rapidly by offering a variety of hot cheesesteak options.
With parent company Inspire Brands reportedly exploring an IPO, successful premium products could help strengthen Arby's position and attract customers looking for something beyond burgers and chicken sandwiches.
Whether you're a longtime Arby's fan or simply curious about the latest fast food trend, the new Angus Cheesesteak is set to become one of the chain's biggest menu additions of the year.
